Waterbed mattresses are designed to go on supporting you in comfort for many years. We recommend that the mattress is changed at least every ten years. Occasionally check that the safety liner is in place and replace if torn or damaged.
Again when choosing a waterbed mattress or heater, choose on quality not price.
A replacement, stabilised Akva mattress, for a 5’ bed, will cost you under £300. Compared to the price of a “good quality” conventional sprung or foam mattress, they are excellent value for money.
Akva also offer the option of a lumbar support mattress.

Waterbed mattresses are easy to drain down and fill using a standard garden hose and blue waterbed connector. Follow the instructions with your mattress. If in doubt give us a call. If you need a bit of kit, we sell a pump, hoses and connectors for £115.95. We can of course do it for you . Again give us a call and we will give you a quote.
