By choosing a waterbed you have chosen to dramatically change the way you sleep (for the better!)
We have had feedback over many years that is overwhelmingly positive.
The phrase we hear every time is “We’d never go back to an ordinary bed”
People love their beds and we have many enthusiastic recommendations.
Many people often come to waterbeds as a last resort, having tried all sorts of sprung and foam mattresses. A really good quality waterbed with all its unique benefits will cost around £1,000 to £1,500, for a king size, which compares well with a “good quality” sprung or foam bed.
Think of a waterbed as an investment. If it improves your quality of sleep it is money well spent. Our beds easily outlast standard beds and quality of sleep remains constant. Another phrase we often hear is “It’s the best money we’ve ever spent.
Our beds come in a full range of styles and finishes to match your existing bedroom furniture. We can set a bed within your existing bed frame . So you won’t have to lose that frame you just paid a fortune for.
We can also offer a full range of mattresses. Some have a few seconds of relaxing motion, others are fully stabilised. All are wonderfully comfortable and supportive. If you have any joint problems we recommend a fully stabilised mattress. We also give the option of a lumbar support mattress for extra lower back support.
Choosing a waterbed can be a little daunting; Most people in this country are unfamiliar with the options. We have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Soft edged divan or hard sided frame bed? Which mattress?
Most waterbeds sold today are divans, they are easier to get in and out of, take standard sized bedding and allow you to sit on the edge of the bed. Divans are usually free standing but can be set within your existing frame. With the hard sided frame beds you climb in and out, but don’t sit on the edge.

Akva mattresses are made to the highest standards using a special laminated environmentally friendly vinyl. They are warranted for five years.
There are several on offer. They all look the same on the outside; the difference is the stabilising fibre inside. Layers of fibre are used to inhibit the movement of the water. The more layers the less movement. We recommend three mattresses.
The Akva fibre 3. This allows two to three seconds of gentle relaxing motion before settling and gives a traditional waterbed feel to the bed.
The Akva fibre 5. This is our best selling mattress... 0-1second of motion. An easier mattress for getting on and off. You’ll love it.
The Akva fibre 6. The extra layer takes away all motion making it our firmest. Ideal if you are less mobile or are used to a firmer bed.
With the bigger beds (5’3” (160cm) and above) you have the option of dual mattresses which allow different temperatures, firmnesses and choice of motion. Along with the guarantee that one person cannot disturb the other by moving in the night!
Think big! If you sleep on a double see if you can find the extra few inches for a 5ft (150cm), (or 5’3” (160cm) with the option of dual mattresses.) It only costs a few more pounds but will give you a better sleep, especially if you are of average to larger build.
Most waterbeds are 6’6” (200cm) long. If you are longer than most we can go to 7’10” (240cm)! And provide the bedding to go with it.!!!
If space is not a problem think 6ft super king, We only charge another £100 for most of our super kings. A 6ft waterbed is the ultimate. Giving the option of dual mattresses and plenty of personal space.
Most of our beds come with a choice of wood, coloured material or mirror bases. The heights can vary with the styles of the base. We can advise which to choose for your needs.
Do you need extra storage?
If you are short of storage space go for drawers. Most of our beds are available with the option of four off set drawers (to allow for bedside units), and as a bonus anything in the drawers will be aired.
Which style of bed? All our beds are stylish, we stock Akva. We have several models on display with many more options. Traditional or contemporary, in
wood, material, suede and leather. They look as good as they feel, fantastic.
You can use your existing headboard or choose from a range of our beautiful custom made headboards that match the beds.
Most of our soft sided divans take standard bedding. Some people with limited movement find turning in bed a little harder than on a conventional bed. We recommend a sateen or satin sheet. We can supply any size bedding, which allows you to choose the right size bed for you. We stock a wide range of sateen and satin sheets, as well as poly/cotton and percale.
All waterbed divans have a removable zip off cover which can be machine washed. If your machine is small choose a split cover and wash half at a time. We recommend that you order a spare cover when you buy your bed.
Generally you will only need a light duvet in summer and a medium duvet in winter.
Put down a deposit and you are sorted!
We always have some beds in stock but most are made to order and normally take around four to five weeks to come through. If you are really struggling and desperate to get a good nights sleep, we can often put in a temporary waterbed and change it over when yours comes in. You come first.
We’re all about providing you with the best bed for your needs. We’ll help you choose the right style, mattress and bed height. We are here to help.
