We are main stockists for Akva waterbeds. We can also supply replacement waterbed mattresses, liners and waterbed heaters for most makes and styles of softside divan and traditional hardside waterbeds

All our beds use the same high quality mattresses, heaters and covers.Akva mattresses and heaters are warranted for five years.
All adult beds can be ordered with a choice of size, height, mattress, base and finish. We can advise on the best options for you.
Divan waterbed sizes.
We can supply a wide range of sizes.
If you have the space go for a larger bed, the difference in price is small, the extra comfort and space is worth every penny.
If you are taller than most choose a longer bed. We can supply bedding for any size bed.

Mattresses
Your mattress is the most important part of your bed, choose wisely.
As with all things there are differences in design, quality and price.
Most mattresses sold in this country use standard one layer vinyl.
Akva mattresses use an environmentally friendly, phthalate free laminated vinyl .
Which means it is more stable, lasting longer than standard vinyl, and is less likely to leak!
A replacement stabilised Akva mattress for a kingsize bed, will cost around £300.
Excellent value for money bearing in mind the comfort and support remain constant year after year.
Akva produce a full range of replacement mattresses for most divan soft side waterbeds and traditional hard side bed in all sizes and stabilisations. We keep a stock of mattresses but with so many sizes and fibre options we recommend you check price and availability.
Dual waterbed mattresses
Akva produce dual mattresses for the 5’3”, 6’ and 6’6” wide divan and hard side beds. Dual mattresses allow each sleeper to set their own sleeping temperature and sleeping firmness. As well as guaranteeing that your partner will not disturb your sleep when turning or getting out of bed. N.B. We can supply a dual system for a 5’ king size bed, using British supplied mattresses.
Headboards
You can choose from a wide range of beautifully made Akva headboards to complement your choice of bed, or use your existing headboard.

Waterbed Bases
With the exception of the Benti base (which has legs), all our beds have bases and drawer systems designed to spread the weight evenly on your floor. Allowing any normal floor to easily support any of our beds. We supply black and white, wood finish and mirror bases, as well as a range of four and eight drawer units, to match your bedroom furnishing. As a bonus anything stored in the drawers will be aired!

The Junior ages 3 - adult (bed height 43cm/ 17”)
When you appreciate the benefits of a waterbed, you will want one for your children.
Sleep plays a vital role during these years of growth and development.
The junior is a single version of the Soft with limited options to keep the price down. It is available in two sizes with a F3 mattresses and black or white base. With the F3 mattress there is about two seconds of motion before settling.

Adult Waterbeds
The prices of our waterbeds depend on size, mattress, drawer and headboard options, so it is difficult to give bed prices on this website. Expect to pay from around £1250. The most expensive bed we supply with all the options would be about £3000.
We offer INTEREST FREE CREDIT so that you can get the best bed for your needs. Our customers often say their bed was their best buy ever.
Akva Soft (on display)
This is the standard waterbed divan design and our best priced bed.
Available in all sizes and with the full range of mattresses and bases including drawers. The Soft can be supplied as a complete bed or as ‘top part only’ to go on a suitable base. The top part of the bed looks like a standard mattress, nine inches deep. The one piece foam sides can be soft or firm. We recommend you use deeper fitted sheets (10” depth) with this bed.

The Inside (on display)
You just bought this fantastic looking bed in a frame and it looks great in your room, but the mattress is rubbish. And then you tried one of our beds. Keep the frame, lose the slats and we can fit the Inside, with its own base , inside your frame. The Inside allows you the choice of any bed frame from contemporary to antique four posters. All we need is the size of the original mattress and the height from the floor to the top of the side rail. We can then adjust the height of our base to match the height of your bed. We can often match our base with your frame. The Inside has a shallow foam surround so that you can tuck in your sheets over the the edge of your bed frame.
Allround Standard (on display)
The Standard Allround represents the best combination of design, quality and value for money.
With the shallow foam design of the more expensive beds you tuck in your sheets between the upper foam and the upholstered under rail. To keep the price as low as possible the Standard Allround has a choice of 8 imitation leathers for the wooden under rails. Also available with a choice of material and suede under rails at extra cost. You can of course choose from the full range of sizes, mattresses and bases , including drawers.

This is the Soft set within wood finish or upholstered frame

This bed has a standard base and chrome legs. Bed height: 52cm (21”)

Deco (on display)
The Deco is a beautifully designed bed with solid wood under rails. Available in light beech, mid beech and mahogany. This was Akva’s top of the range bed until the introduction of the Vega. Choose a matching headboard. The Cook is the all wood option. The Ural and Atlas combines wood and your choice of upholstered panels in material, suede or leather.

The combination of chrome and a beautiful contemporary design with matching headboard and optional lights and bedside stools make this the bed of choice if money is no object!

Akva Wellness
Designed for therapists, pool areas and health spas. The Wellness has a massage system. It is splash proof and can be easily cleaned. Comes on a Benti base and is available in cream and blue.
We can supply the Wellness with a fully stabilised mattress making it ideal for massage and other treatments. The waterbed benefits of total support, low even pressure points and conrolled warmth allow instant relaxation and absolute comfort. Within a minute or two the client will be warmed with good blood supply to relaxed muscles. Any treatment given will be enhanced and far more effective. The massage system can be used prior to and during treatment with several programmes available.
It is hard to describe the difference for the client, compared to treatment given on standard couches. Bedding
ZIP OFF DIVAN BED COVERS
We stock replacement zip off bed covers for our Akva beds as well as zip off covers for some other makes of water beds.
When ordering covers we need to know the make, overall size and age of your bed, to be sure that the zips match.
MATTRESS PROTECTORS for Hardside Beds
When ordering please measure the inside of the frame, side to side and top to bottom. (The measurements will be similar to the mattress size.)
SHEETS & PILLOWCASES
As well as poly-cotton and percale sheets we also have stock Akva sateen (cotton satin) sheets to fit all bed sizes.
